Exploring the intersection of fantasy, memory, and reality through a photographic lens these photographs are captured informally with my phone. Edited using Procreate, and layered with “painted sculptures” and vibrant colours. By incorporating surrealist elements and abstract compositions, I challenge the viewer to question the boundaries of reality. The presence of sculptures in only some of the images invites contemplation on what is real and what is imagined. My aim is to create work that invites the audience to project their own fantasies and interpretations onto the images.

The use of gum dichromate printing further blurs the lines between photography and painting. The painterly strokes created in this process transform the images from mere photographs into tactile, painterly objects, emphasizing their surreal qualities and enhancing their dreamlike presence.
